The castle behind me is Kolossi Castle and it also lends its name to the famous Commandaria Wine. The castle and the grounds itself evoke a peaceful feeling, even though the building is quite empty inside. The stonework is incredible and most visitors will enjoy exploring the staircases and battlements as well as the grounds. If you let your imagination run wild it is easy to be whisked back
